Shopify Builds - Custom Liquid Theming + Headless Hydrogen

Multiple D2C brands needed Shopify stores that went beyond what standard themes could deliver. Default Shopify themes are built for generic use cases - brands with specific UX requirements, custom checkout flows, or performance demands quickly hit the ceiling of what themes can do.

One client specifically needed a headless Shopify implementation - standard Shopify's frontend wasn't fast or flexible enough for their requirements. Most Shopify agencies don't have headless capability, making this a technically demanding requirement.

Across multiple clients, the need was consistent: custom Shopify experiences built to specific brand and performance requirements, not adapted from a generic template.

We delivered custom Shopify builds across multiple D2C clients. For standard builds, we developed custom Liquid themes from scratch - building exactly the UX, layout, and features each brand needed rather than modifying an existing theme.

For a performance-focused client, we implemented Shopify Hydrogen - the official React-based headless Shopify framework. Hydrogen decouples the frontend from Shopify's standard rendering, enabling faster page loads, greater UI flexibility, and better Core Web Vitals scores.

Each build was tailored to the brand's specific product catalog, customer journey, and conversion goals.
